Anonymous asked: I was just wondering if those who break Deuteronomy 22:13-21 (A marriage shall be considered valid only if the wife is a virgin. If the wife is not a virgin, she shall be executed) are considered continuously defiant of God, and therefore will go to hell even if they repent.

They will not go to hell even if they repent, no. You see, things are different now than they were in the Old Testament times because of one thing- Jesus. When Jesus came to die for us, he came to take away our sins. That doesn’t mean we shouldn’t practice moral behaviors anymore just because we know we can repent and we will be forgiven, but we are able to have Jesus’ love and forgiveness in those times when we mess up. If someone continuously is defiant of God and doesn’t repent then chances are, more than likely, they will be headed to hell. But God forgives sinners and those who love him. People make mistakes, and in today’s time there will be more non-virgins getting married. But God isn’t going to condemn them to hell, especially if they understand that it is a sin to have sex out of wedlock, and they have repented and asked for forgiveness for that sin.
